The Rajagopalnagar police are on the lookout for miscreants who was killed a 65-year-old man sleeping on footpath on Hegganahalli main road on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as,Krishnappa a daily wage worker.
Senior officer told media persons,A Passers-by found the man with severe head injuries and alerted police .
The police rushed him to victoria hospital where he succumbed on Wednesday.
Krishnappa,a daily wage labourer was attacked with a stone.The Rajagopalnagar police have registered a case of murder and efforts are on to identify the accused .
Police suspect that it could be a case of attempt to rob and when he resisted they killed special teams formed to nab the culprits he added.
