Auto driver murder case detected within six hours,two held by Jeevanbheemanagar police

The East Division police of Jeevanbheemanagar police arrested two men within six hours of crime reported for allegedly murdering an autorickshaw driver in the wee hours of Monday morning.

The accused has been identified as, Madhusoodhan,29 and Yatish Gowda,25 were tracked down and arrested within six hours of committing the crime.

Senior officers as,DCP,East, Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,with ACP,PI,Rajanna and his crime team rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

After inspecting the spot,he said,A 32-year-old autorickshaw driver was murdered by a gang in JB Nagar in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Manjunath, from Dhoopanahalli.

The deceased had gone to a bar to consume alcohol and came out of the bar to get into the autorikshaw when the assailants waiting for him attacked.
Manjunath tried to escape and began to run, but the assailants chased him for few yards pushed him on the ground and assaulted him black and blue before they crushed his head with a cement block .

The JB Nagar police inspector and his team swung into action and based on technical evidence and other intelligence inputs the team zeroed in on two persons within six hours and arrested them.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and during preliminary probe it was found a old rivalry could be the reason behind murder case is being investigated further to ascertain the reason behind the murder.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East,A Subramanyeswara Rao,DCP East,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,ACP,D Kumar,PI,Rajanna and his crime team who has acted swiftly and arrested the duo within six hours a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
