n a tragic incident,a 4.5 year old girl was killed in front of her mother after an LPG cylinders laden autorickshaw ranover her due to the negligence of the driver, in Kamakshipalya on Thursday.
The deceased M Bhuvana was having a tender coconut in front of her house on the roadside in Kaveripura where the killer Autorickshaw had stopped to deliver a cylinder.
The driver the autorickshaw was in neutral gear,he got down suddenly to talk to the customer when the autorickshaw began to move and ran over Bhuvana.
The mother of Bhuvana jumped away for safety but Bhuvana came under the wheels.The entire incident was captured on the CCTV installed near-by.
Passers-by rushed the injured Bhuvana to a near-by hospital where she succumbed .
Based on the complaint the Kamakshipalya traffic police rushed to the spot and track down the accused identified as Dhananjaya.
He was produced before the court on Saturday and remanded to judicial custody.The last rites of Bhuvana was performed at her native Nagamangala said a senior officer.
