A 28-year old woman was killed in freak accident while she was working in a plastic recycling unit in Chandra layout on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as,Shaziya Baanu,resident of Gangondanahalli .
Senior officer told media persons,The deceased was working in a machine which recycled plastic material at Z S Plastic Factory,Azeez Saith Industrial Area,Nayandahalli.
A part of veil entangled in the belt of a machine and Shaziya was dragged before she could react .
She sustained severe head injuries and rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared her as brought dead.
The Chandra Layout police have taken up a case of death due to negligence against the owner of the factory and are investigating further.
