The law is the same for all, everyone should obey the rule of law.Maintaining peace,law and order is our priority,Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said speaking to media persons in New Delhi.
Replying to questions on Hijab and Halal issues, Bommai said,celebrating religious and social events is a religious issue.
Reacting to former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s statement that the State government had remained mute spectator amid the controversies, Bommai said,let him think whatever.
The people will decide about personal comments against me.I will not react to that.We have taken action when needed.
The High Court has said what needs to be said about Hijab.
Administration is not just about giving statements.There are rules and procedures for administration. We are working accordingly,” Bommai said.
