Approval for Kalyana Karnataka development projects before April last week: CM Bommai

A grant of Rs.3000 cr has been provided for comprehensive development of Kalyana Karnataka region in the budget.

Approval for action plans for the development projects of the region would be issued before the last week of April, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.

Speaking at a programme to launch various projects to develop Basavakalyan as a beautiful cultural city,Bommai said,apart from ushering in an era of high thinking in Kalyana Karnataka region,our government will herald an era of development for the region.

Development works would be taken to every village and household.A proposal to fill 14000 vacant posts in the region has been approved.

This includes 5000 posts of teachers.State government has resolved to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the region under article 371J, Bommai said.

Work on Anubhava Mantapa

Construction of Anubhava Mantapa would be launched in the first week of May.It would inspire progressive social thought and ideals.

Senior leader BS Yediyurappa had initiated the process for construction of Anubhava Mantapa by providing Rs500 cr for the purpose.

State government is committed to the comprehensive development of Basavakalyan and all monuments of Shiva Sharanas,Bommai said.

Development of Kalyana Karnataka

Development of Basavakalyan has received a boost with the honesty and dedication of Basavaraj Patil Sedam.

A special committee for skills development has been formulated with a grant of Rs.200 cr to impart vocational training for the youth in every village, develop entrepreneurship and improve education and health facilities, Bommai said.

Basavanna is relevant even today

The 12th century was a century of transformation for India.Basaveshwara showed the path and ideals for the common man.

His ideals of work is worship, compassion is the essence of any religion” are relevant even today, Bommai said.
