The Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch sleuths arrested a security guard and recovered synthetic drugs worth Rs 3 lakh from him.
The accused has been identified as Nepal resident a security guard in the morning and a drug peddler in the evening.
Senior officer told reporters,our Anti-Narcotics Wing of CCB received a credible information that a person suspect from Nepal is indulged in peddling synthetic drugs to his community people and college students.
Based on information the team swung into action and nabbed a person who is a resident of Nepal while he was trying to supply drugs to his clients in Bagalur police station limits.
During investigation the accused confessed the crime and it has revealed that the accused hailed from Nepal and worked as security guard at a private firm but he would peddle drugs to college students and private firm employees.
The police seized 10 grams of MDMA and 80 grams of charas from him.
A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that he sourced the drugs through online on cheaper rates and selling it to his customers for higher prices to make extra money.
However we suspect that he is part of the drug racket and probing further to ascertain his network.
Finally Bengaluru Police commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Raman Gupta, DCP, Crime-1,Dr SD Sharanappa and his whole team who has nabbed the notorious drug peddler and recovered the synthetic drugs from him a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
