A police Inspector and his assistant of the rank of constable in the dock for allegedly assaulting and harassing a 39-year-old physically challenged techie over nine year old case where he was acquitted .
The victim, Sandeep 
Kumar KK, 39,having a software training institute in Thippasandra was getting calls from Police Constable,Nagaraj constantly for the last one week,asking him to appear before the inspector for inquiry.
When Kumar asked him for copy of the summons and the case details Nagaraj refused and insisted that he should come .
Buckled under pressure Kumar went to Meet Inspector Ravi Patil who allegedly abused him using unparliamentary words and threatened him with dire consequences to return the money he owned to one Mr. Naresh.
Kumar further said that he had a financial dispute with Naresh and the later had filed a complaint against him.After one year of trail,Kumar won the case.
After nine years Ravi Patil called him to the station without summons or without sharing copy of the complaint threatening him to settle the money, which is gross misuse of official power and harassment,he said in his complaint.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim,to the police head quarters and state human rights commission,the Home Minister office forwarded the complaint seeking probe and action taken report .
