he Varthur police have tracked down 35-year-old man to outskirt of Goa on Saturday after he killed his employer in cold blooded manner and escaped after robbing her valuables on April 5.
The accused has been identified as,Kiran Kumar,resident of Sarjapur road and his associates as,Imran Sheikh,23, and Venkatesh,52.
Senior officer told reporters,victim relative registered a complaint against three persons stating that her relative was used to take those three only more with her and Kiran Kumar used to be with her only to take her out as she couldn’t walk more and those trio have killed her and robbed her valuables.
Based on complaint, Varthur police inspector, Somashekar and his crime staff rushed to the spot where they found the decomposed body of victim in the flat.
The team who got suspect it is a insider job as there was no forceful entry in the house the team based on technical inputs nabbed all the trio including the absconding accused Kiran Kumar who was nabbed in outskirts of Goa.
During investigation the accused confessed the crime and revealed that all the trio was working for sunitha Ramprasad,55,an investment banker and financier from Malleshwaram.
The deceased is a unmarried and employed Kiran Kumar to look after her office work.
Kiran Kumar who was living in a rented apartment and also have a key of a vacant apartment was in a dire need of money and decided to eliminate Sunitha,who is living alone and rich,to rob money from her.
As per the plan,he roped in his associates,Sheikh Imran,23 and Venkatesh,52 and the trio invited her on the pretext of introducing a rich client.
When Sunitha came to the vacant apartment to meet the client,the accused as per the plan smothered her to death using a plastic cover and robbed her gold valuables she was wearing which is not much as they expected .
After few futile attempts to disposed the body the accused left the body in the apartment and escaped.
Meanwhile Sunitha’s relative filed a missing complaint with the Malleshwaram police on March 31 while the Varthur police recovered the decomposed body from the flat on April 5.
During the course of investigations the police found the CCTV footage where Imran and Venkatesh moving around the flat suspiciously .
The police arrested the duo but Kiran had escaped without leaving a single clue and taken shelter in a rented house in the outskirt of Goa.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East,A subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP Whitefield,Girish S, ACP,Kishore Bharani,PI,Somashekar,PSIs,as, Manjunath and Krishnamurthy,and crime staff as, Krishnamurthy,R Janardhan,Nagabhushan,Mohan,Nagaraj,Shivaraj,Manjunath,Basavaraju,Naganna,WPC,Lakshmi has been appreciated for the exemplary and excellent work done by them in cracking the murder case of woman entrepreneurs by arresting all the trio a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
