Cyclone Asani: Unexpectedly diverted Asani .. Ongoing Red Alert

AMRAVATI: Typhoon Asani weakened in the southeastern Bay of Bengal. 50 km southeast of Machilipatnam and 30 km to Narsapur. Centered in the distance. The IMD has forecast that the cyclone will change direction unexpectedly. It is currently reported to be moving at a speed of 6 km per hour. The storm is expected to re-enter the sea at Yanam in the evening after landing.

The IMD said there were indications that it would gradually weaken and turn into a severe cyclone. It said it would sail along the coast until it was completely weakened. The intensity of the winds decreased as they got closer to the coast. 75 km per hour in the surrounding areas of the cyclone. The winds are blowing fast. Red Alert continues in coastal districts due to the severity of the storm.
