Medical students should not enroll in other colleges NMC guidelines
applicable to graduates after November 2021

Hyderabad: MBBS is studying in a private medical college .. Internship is in a government medical college .. The same thread continues in most private medical colleges. Medical students are also leaning towards government colleges with the intention of getting better experiential training. The matter was recently blocked by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Where to complete MBBS from now on .. The new rule has come into force to complete the internship in the affiliated teaching hospital of the same medical college. NMC states that this applies to students who have completed MBBS after November 2021. The College Health University has taken the necessary steps in line with those guidelines. It directed all public and private medical colleges in the state to provide internships to the students of the respective colleges in their respective teaching hospitals. Medical Director Dr. Ramesh Reddy recently wrote a letter to NMC. Osmania and Gandhi Medical Colleges currently have a total of 500 students. Apart from these, another 500 people are being recruited for internships in both the places. He asked that the orders be amended so as not to take students other than the number of students in the colleges in the state as per the latest rules amended.

Must be completed within two years

Only after completion of the internship will the MBBS degree be eligible for registration with the State Medical Council. Must complete 12 months internship within two years of passing MBBS. Those who have completed medical education abroad should do so within two years of passing the qualifying examination. They can take 15 days of general leave and maternity leave as per state and central government regulations by obtaining prior permission. Father can get paternity leave for 2 weeks. A doctor who has completed PG Medicine must be assigned to guide internship students in hospitals. The state government is required to provide the scholarship on a monthly basis as prescribed.

Foreign students to the new college

NMC facilitates internships in our country for students who have completed medical studies abroad. However, the first priority is to allocate internships in new medical colleges. In any government medical college .. A maximum of 7.5 per cent of their internship capacity should be given to students who have completed medical education abroad
