Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch on Wednesday busted an inter state drug racket and arrested two persons peddling MDMA crystals in the city .
Senior officer told reporters,Based on a tip off,a team of police raided a flat in Marathahalli and caught the accused red handed and recovered 200 grams of MDMA worth Rs 20 lakh from them.
The duo confessed the crime and revealed that they had sourced the drugs from their contacts in Kerala and selling it to their clients for a price ranging from Rs.8,000 to Rs 10,000 per gram.
The duo have been booked under NDPS Act and taken into custody for further investigations.
Finally Bengaluru police commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Raman Gupta,DCP Crime-1,Dr SD Sharanappa and whole team of Anti-Narcotics Wing CCB for busting the racket a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
