New Delhi, 16th May 2022; Union Minister of State for Finance, Shri Pankaj Choudhary unveiled a book ‘Life’ by noted writer and social activist Dr. Krishna Saksena. Prabhat Kumar (Prabhat Prakashan), Mrs. Pooja, Mrs. Mangala and Mrs. Renu were present during the program.
In this small book, Dr. Krishna Saksena has described the ups and downs of life through various aspects in a simple language. The book also evokes a sense of love, kindness, gratitude, and spirituality, with many fascinating anecdotes to demonstrate their impact on quality of life. In this book, the author has not tried to impose his opinion, but has provided an opportunity to the readers to find the conclusion. The author says that like a picture is worth a thousand words, similarly, a true incident in life is worth a thousand quotes.
On the occasion, Sh. Pankaj Choudhary said that it is a proud moment for me that we have the opportunity to release the book ‘Life’ by Dr. Krishna Saxena, the first woman Ph.D. from Lucknow University in 1955. He said that after retiring at the age of 93, Dr Krishna Saxena is showing people the way of life through her books. Saluting her spirit, Pankaj Choudhary said that Dr. Saxena has done the job of containing the essence of life in fewer words. In simple words, she has shared the mantra to be happy forever. I hope the readers will get a new direction, and new thinking about life after reading the book. The hon’ble minister emphasized that the present Modi government is putting all best efforts towards women empowerment.
Dr. Krishna Saksena in her speech emphasized that the emphasis should be given in creating value systems in society as against making money. Dr. Saksena said, ‘Through this, I have tried to tell the real purpose of living life. Progress in life is not in going abroad or in how much wealth is earned, but it is necessary to serve parents, respect elders and have proper conduct. Everyone should take special care of their character, behavior and life values, Dr. Saksena said. One should be ready to help others for the betterment of society and one’s own happiness.
