Members of city based Law and Policy Research Institute on Monday filed a complaint against hate speeches made at Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Hindu Rashtra Convention conducted in BBMP community hall on 8th May inciting the slogan for hindu rastra and hate speach against muslim community.
The complaint along with the links of the social media account pages submitted to the jurisdictional Sanjaynagar police station but the police refused to take the complaint.
The delegation later met the Additional Commissioner of Police,Sandeep Patil who directed them to the Deputy Commissioner of Police,North Vinayak Patil for necessary action .
We are hopeful that the Bengaluru Police will soon lodge an FIR and book the accused as per specified law.
We also hope that we don’t need to knock the doors of the honourable court for getting FIR lodged against hate speeches made at the convention where speakers called Muslims as ‘cancer’accused the community of ‘Land Jihad’, ‘Property Jihad’,and also where slogans like ‘Ghar main ghuske maarenge’ were raised”said member of the delegation.
The complaint stated that the meeting held at BBMP community hall in Rajajinagar last Sunday, where several speakers belonging to pro hindu outfit spoke on Hindu Rastra and incited communal hatred.
Mohan Gowda,spokesperson of HJS,referred Muslim community as disease taking over the country.
He cited Love jihad,economic jihad and land jihad and accused muslims of creating noise pollution through azaan to terrorise and harass Hindu community.
Another speaker identified as Lakshmi Rajkumar said that Azaan gave hindu community pain,fear and anger and called the members of the community to retaliate and give 10 slaps against every single slap.
S Bhaskaran,president of Vishwa sanatana Parishad,reiterated that the muslims are like cancer and taking over the country slowly in terms of work,economy and property.
He said that one day they will take over the country.One of the audience shouted stating we will enter their house and beat them up and no one is spared.
While he got applause another audience rose and shouted we want hindu Rastra.
Such programs not only incite communal hatred but also damage the social fabric of the society , the complaint said, requesting the police to book them under IPC for inciting communal hatred.
