The KIAL police on Friday arrested a 28-year-old man for sexually harassing airhostess in the indigo flight on Friday.
The accused has been identified as Nandkishore Bhati,28 from Rajasthan.
Senior officer told reporters,the accused was travelling from Jaipur to Bengaluru when he misbehaved and flashed at the cabin crew mid air.
The victim raised objections and complained to her senior colleague.When the accused was confronted he apologized.
Few minutes later he asked for the tea and when the victim serving the tea the accused touched her inappropriately.
The staff soon after the flight was landed, complained to the airport police and handed over the accused to the police.
The police have registered a case charging him under section 354(1) (assaults or uses criminal force to any woman,intending to outrage modesty) against him .
The accused works for granite shop in Bangalore and he is native of Rajasthan,said a senior officer adding that he has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
