ITI Graduate turned Bike lifter arrested by Bharatinagar police Recovered 10 stolen bikes Worth Rs.4 lakhs

The East division police of Bharatinagar police on Monday arrested a 24-year-old man and recovered 10 bikes worth Rs.4 lakh from him.

The accused has been identified as, Lakshmipathy,resident of Kuppam in AP, is ITI graduate and working at a factory in Hosur .

Senior officer told reporters,Based on a vehicle theft cases reported,in the Bharati Nagar police station limits.

Special team was led by DCP East,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled under the supervision of ACP,BS Abdul Khadar,a team headed by PI, Ravishankar MN swung into action.

The crime team visited the crime spot and after analysing the CCTV footage and other police technology skills the team track down the accused.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and the team grilled him who spilled the beans and based on his statement the crime staff recovered 10 stolen bikes from him.

A detailed investigation by the team revealed that the accused was into cricket betting and incurred huge loss. In order to recover the loss he started stealing bikes parked in front of the house and sell them to throwaway prices to repay the debts is now landing in police net.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP East,A subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP East,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,ACP,BS Abdul Khadar,PI, Ravishankar MN,PSI,Anuradha GS,and crime staff as,Raju N,Narasimhamurthy,Mazhar Baig, Ravikumar KS,Srinivasmurthy has been appreciated for nabbing the ITI graduate turned bike lifter and recovering the stolen bikes from him a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
