he sampigehalli police have arrested a 35-year-old nigerian national and recovered 80 grams of MDMA worth Rs 8 lakh from him.
The accused identified as Jerry Chinoye , resident of Chikkajala staying illegally and peddling drugs to his clients.
Senior officer told reporters,Based on a tip off,a team of police raided the place outside hotel Kadai near Chirumenahalli arch and arrested him red handed.
The police also recovered a mobile phone and car from him.The police booked Jerry under NDPS and probing further to ascertain his source of drugs .
In another incident,the Yelahanka police arrested Nukusy Evra George, (34) from Rwanda and his associate mohammed Farooq,29,from Shivajinagar who were peddling MDMA.THe police seized 8 grams of MDMA worth Rs.25,000 from them.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy,has appreciated Addl CP East,A Subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP Northeast,Dr Anoop A Shetty,ACP,Rangappa T,PI,and crime staff of Sampigehalli and Yelahanka police who has nabbed three Notorious drug peddlers to lead a lavish life they were peddling drugs for the commendable job done by them a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
