The Hanumanthnagar police on Monday arrested two bike lifters and recovered 16 two wheelers worth Rs.2.8 lakh from them.
The accused Dadapeer,22 and Zabi Pasha,18.
Senior officer told reporters,based on a complaint the Hanumanthnagar police analyzed the CCTV footages and identify the accused .
Based on their confession the police recovered 18 stolen bikes and are investigating further.
A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that they are habitual offenders who used to move around the residential areas to identify bikes parked in front of the houses and steal them by breaking the locks and sell it at throwaway price for their vices.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West, Sandeep Patil,DCP South,Harish Pandey,BL Srinivasmurthy,PI,BN Sandeep Kumar,PSI, Basavaraj S Patel and crime staff as, Ningappa Aari,Shivanand,Gopi,Prakash Rathod,Smt.Mamatha KA,Muthappa,Shaikh Allahbaksh Muggapa,Prashanth,Mahalinga Kartal,Rajesh,Smt Savitha,and others has been appreciated for nabbing the notorious bike lifter and recovered stolen property a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
