Chamarajpet murder & robbery case cracked Prime accused among four held Property worth Rs.4.93 Crores recovered

police probing Jugraj Jain lunkad murder case and arrested three more persons and recovered valuables and cash worth Rs.4.9 crore from them.

The prime accused Bijaram,24,a resident of Devasiyon Ki Dhani village of Nagaur District in Rajasthan and a native of village in Raipur of Pali district in Rajasthan,his associates Puran Ram Devasi alias Pooran Ram,26,a resident of Goa and a native of Raipur,Mahendra Devasi,27,of Raipur,Om Prakash Devasi,24,a resident of Chickpet and native of Raipur.

One more accused identified as Om Ram Devasi, is at large and the efforts are on to nab him.

Senior officer told reporters,Jugraj Jain,74,a resident of the King’s Enclave apartment on Fourth Main Road in Chamarajpet who was running Deepam Electricals on SV Lane in Chickpet was murdered brutally by Bijaram at his flat on May 24th midnight.

Bijaram joined as domestic help to assist the elderly businessman and planned and killed him while he was alone.

On the fateful night Bijaram soon after dropping Jugraj Jain,threw chilli power into his eyes, gagged his mouth,tied his hands and legs before strangulating him to death.

A special team was formed to nab the murderer,Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,with DCP West, Dr Sanjeev M Patil,ACP,KC Giri,PI E Yerriswamy with other crime staff and FSL team visited the spot and after inspecting the spot four special team formed.

Special team led by Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,who supervised the investigation and under his able guidance and leadership.

Special teams under the supervision of ACP,KC Giri,PIs,as,E Yerriswamy, Shivakumar,Chethan,and Lohith BN and their crime staffs swung into action.

Teams were sent across India,one team was sent to Hyderabad,at the same time the accused was nabbed and arrested by Amirgarh police in Palanpur Gujarat border during a vehicle check the team intercepted the vehicle and found a person hiding.

Amirgarh police station Incharge Mahavir Sinh Zala and his team detained him as he had gold and cash in his back when we checked his bag and took him to station for further investigations.

The team conducted a probe and during investigation the accused did not produce any documents for the gold and cash he had further the team who got information from Bengaluru police that a murderer has escaped with Valuables.

The team passed information to Bengaluru police that they have secured the accused and immediately PI,E Yerriswamy and his crime staff rushed to Amirgarh police and picked him up on transit warrant.

The team grilled him who spilled the beans and confessed the crime and based on his Statement PI, Yerriswamy and his team rushed to Goa and nabbed his associate puran the team grilled him and recovered 8.75 kgs of gold ornaments from him.

A detailed investigation a team of police headed by PI, Shivakumar and PSI, Bhagvanthraya Mali Patil rushed to Rajashthan to recover cash from prime accused brother who took cash of Rs.45 lakhs from him after commiting the crime.

Bengaluru City Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy said A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that the accused ransacked the house stuffed the valuables in bags and escaped to Goa where he handed over the booty to his associates and left to his hometown.

However,Bijaram who was on run was caught in Gujarat by Amirgadh police of Banaskantha district on May 29,while conducting ransom vehicle checks,to look for the suspects,after getting alert from the Bengaluru police.

Bijaram was travelling in a truck and upon checking his bag police found Rs.8.4 lakh cash and Rs.23.8 lakh worth gold valuables.

Bijaram was later handed over to the Chamarajpet police who upon investigations learnt the involvement of four more persons.

A team led by ACP,Giri KC,went to Hubbali and Goa and conducted search in Puran’s house and seized 8.5 kg gold jewellery,a mobile phone and arrested Puran.

Based on further information the team went to Khiwal village in Pali district of Rajasthan and arrested brothers Mahendra and Om Prakash, seized Rs.45 lakh in cash from them and two mobile phones.

One more accused is at large in the case and the efforts are made to nab him.The seized property from four accused persons is worth around Rs 4.93 crore.

He rob the gold jewellery,silver articles and cash from the wardrobe in Jugraj’s bedroom.

The booty was filled in a bag.Om Ram Devasi had come from Goa and was waiting for him outside the apartment.

The duo took the bags and went to Majestic from there they took a bus to Chitradurga.

In Chitradurga they hired a car and went to Hubballi and from there they went to Goa by train.

In Goa they shared distributed the stolen property in three bags,a bag was taken by Bijaram took, another bag was taken by Om Ram and the third bag was left with Puran.

Both had to go to Rajasthan so they left majority of the stolen property with Puran to avoid getting caught by the police with the property.

Puran runs a hardware shop in Goa,Om Prakash works in a cloth shop in Chickpet, Mahendra works in a jewellery shop in Pali and Om Ram owns a garments store in Goa.

Bijaram’s wife used to pester him to get more money and open his own shops like their relatives,which led him to hatch murder plan,the police,said.
