Crime Nandakumar arrested in Kochi. He was arrested on a complaint that he had persuaded an employee of the company to produce a pornographic video of Minister Veena George.
The action was taken on the complaint of a woman from Kakkanad. Nandakumar was arrested by a team led by the Ernakulam ACP.
The woman complained that she was forced to make a pornographic video of Health Minister Veena George and was mentally abused when she refused.
Earlier, Kakkanad police had arrested Crime Nandakumar for making defamatory remarks against Veena George.
The case alleges that he made defamatory remarks over the phone and circulated the voice clip via social media.
It was alleged that PC George and Nandakumar were behind the recent revelations made by Swapna Suresh, the accused in the gold smuggling case, against the Chief Minister and his family.
Although Nandakumar denied this, PC George later confirmed that he had met Swapna and Crime Nandakumar in Kochi.
Saritha S Nair, the accused in the solar scam case, also gave a statement to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the revelations of Swapna.
