rime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving on a two-day visit to the State on June 20(tomorrow) and will participate in a slew of programs,Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
The Prime Minister is set to dedicate to the nation the Brain Cell Research Centre at the Indian Institute of Science at 12.30pm on June 20 and lay the foundation stone for Bagchi Parthasarathy hospital.
He will head to BR Ambedkar School of Economics(BASE) to unveil the statue of Dr Ambedkar at 1.45pm.He will also inaugurate the BASE campus and 150 upgraded ITIs in the state.
Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development works at Kommaghatta at 2.45pm.He will also address a public rally there, Bommai said.
The Prime minister will leave for Mysuru at 5.30 pm on June 20 and inaugurate several development works at the Maharaja College Grounds.
He will visit the Suttur Mutt at 7pm and meet the Seer.Modi is scheduled to head to Chamundi Hills at 7.50pm to have a darshan of Goddess Chamundeshwari.
On June 21 he will lead the International Yoga Day celebrations at the Mysuru Palace premises at 6.30am.
He will go around the Exhibition at Palace premises at 8.10am and leave the Palace at 9.20 am and reach the airport at 9.45am to leave for Delhi, Bommai said.
