he Magadi road police have arrested two persons and recovered 55 batteries which they have stolen from the RMA boxes in the transformers.
Based on a complaint from BESCOM that as many as 30 batteries have been stolen within a span of 15 days in February this year, the police registered a case and track down the accused through CCTV footage .
The accused have been identified as Vinod and Jagadisha,who use to move around the city in a van and steal batteries .
The police have recovered as many as 55 batteries from them and further investigating .
