Unique Gesture by kamakshipalya police donates blood for acid attack victim’s surgery

T he Kamakshipalya police inspector,Prashanth M,and his team donated five units of blood to victim of the acid attack who is scheduled to undergo another surgery in St johns hospital on Friday.

The police team,probing the acid attack case , came to know about the requirement of blood decided to pitch in and help.

There are many staff who agreed to help and donated blood even though they have different blood group,so that they the victim family can ask for replacement.

The 23 year old victim was severely injured with the acid attack on April 28 and admitted to St.Johns hospital,underwent multiple surgeries so far.

The accused Nagesh who was on the run was tracked to a Thirunalveli in Tamil Nadu,where he was hiding in a mutt.

The police also opened fire at him while he tried to escape after attacking a police constable in a bid to escape near Kengeri bridge on May 14th.
