Auto driver stabbed to death by food delivery for 50 Rupees in Bengaluru over trivial row,

24-year-old autorickshaw driver was stabbed to death by his friend over a fight for Rs.50 at Basaveshwaranagar on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Shivamadu, resident of Laggere and the accused identified as,Shanthkumar,a food delivery boy .

Senior officer,as, DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil who was on night rounds rushed to the spot and after collecting information he said that both the accused and the deceased are childhood friends and used to hang around often.

On Tuesday they along with others went to a cyber cafe to browse where Shivamadu took out Rs.50 from Shanthkumar’s pocket for fun.

Heated arguments ensued when Shivamadu refused to return despite repeated request from Shanthkumar.

In them melee,Shanthkumar pulled out a knife and stabbed Shivamadu on his chest and escaped .

The others rushed the profusely bleeding Shivamadu to a near-by private hospital where the doctors after examination declared him as brought dead.

The Basaveshwaranagar police have taken up a case of murder and efforts are on to track own Shanthkumar.

A special team led by PI,Krishnamurthy,PSI,Sathish and his team swung into action and nabbed the accused and are investigating further to ascertain the reason behind the murder he added.
