Army man held for misbehaving with CISF woman inspector inebirated state,remanded to judicial custody by court

The Bengaluru International airport police on Thursday arrested a 26-year-old armyman who created ruckus at the airport lounge and misbehaved with a CISF woman Inspector in an inebriated state during inquiry at the station.

The accused Suraj Kumar Modi,from Dhanbad, Jharkhand has been booked under section 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharging duties )354 (outraging the modesty ),332(assault) and 506 ( criminal intimidation )and remanded to judicial custody.

The accused was caught misbehaving with the staff of a HMS shop inside the airport and refused to pay the bill for the alcohol he bought.

Based on the complaint from the staff that the customer in an inebriated state creating ruckus, CISF Inspector,Kavitha N along with the staff rushed to the spot and brought him to the station for inquiry.

The accused continue to misbehave with the police and created ruckus and ransacked the premises while hurling abuses and threatening the staff.

The accused also attacked PSI Nidish,who tried to calm him down.

The staff had a tough time to handle the drunk passenger at the station and sought the help of BIAL police .

The police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused while Ms.Kavitha filed a complaint against the accused a senior officer said.
