Alert cops of JP Nagar Rescued 26 year old student attempting suicide

I n a swift action,Assistant Sub Inspector,Ramesh B and his colleague,Head Constable Chandrashekharaiah rescued a 26-year-old student who attempted to end his life at a paying guest in JP Nagar on Monday.

The accused student identified as Amay Anil dabada,native of Pune,pursuing food technology at Jain University was staying at a PG in Sarakki junction in JP Nagar.

Probe revealed that Amay was depressed and not attending the college for few days .

On Monday evening,Amay’s fried Akhilesh received a message from him on his phone informing that he is ending his life .

Shocked Akhilesh called 112 for help and the control room staff aired the message to Hoysala no. 244 stationed near-by asking them to take immediate action .

Coping the message,ASI Ramesh and his colleague Chandrashekharaiah located the address and rushed to the room to find Amay had fallen down from the cot in a pool of blood.

Without wasting time,The duo wrapped a piece of cloth around the wrist which was slashed to prevent further loss of blood and carried him out of PG before calling the Ambulance.

Within five minuted the Ambulance reached the spot and rushed him to RR Nagar medical college where he was treated by doctors on time.

It was emotional moment for Ramesh and Chandrashekharaiah as Amay friends and relatives rushed to the hospital and Thanked the duo for saving the life.

Senior officials of 112 team,called Ramesh and Chandrashekhraiah and congratulated them .

The police are now awaiting recovery of the Amay to question him for his extreme step and take necessary action.

Dial 112,A distress call was received from Sarakki Signal, that a boy was attempting to take away his life. ASI Ramesh & HC Chandrashekhar @jpnagaraps rushed to the spot and rescued the unconscious boy and shifted him to hospital. A life was saved !
