Bike lifter arrested by Kengeri police four stolen bikes Worth Rs.3.7 lakhs recovered

The Kengeri police have arrested a 35-year-old bike lifter and recovered four stolen bikes worth Rs. 3.7 lakh from him.

The accused Manjunath from RR Nagar was caught by alert police on Uttarahalli main road when the cops are checking vehicles and found Manjunath trying to slip away suspiciously .

The police gave a hot chase and managed to pin him down.

Based on his confession the police recovered four bikes which were parked outside the houses and stolen by him.

The accused would use a bunch of duplicate keys to steal the bikes and sell it to his contacts for throwaway prices,a police officer,said .

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy,has appreciated Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil,ACP,Kodandarama T,PI,Vasanth C, and his crime staff who has done a excellent work in nabbing two wheeler lifters and recovered stolen bikes from them a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
