Renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Bharti Kashyap was today felicitated with Indian Medical Association (IMA) Appreciation Award by Dr. Sahajanand Prasad Singh, President of Indian Medical Association in a grand ceremony organized at IMA Bhawan, New Delhi.
In the year 2018, Dr Bharti Kashyap was presented with the Nari Shakti Puraskar by the President of India for her campaign aimed at eradicating cancer among women and protection of vision in poor people, especially children.
The national IMA had conferred Dr. Jyoti Prasad Ganguly Memorial Award to Dr Bharti Kashyap in the year 2021, Women Empowerment Award in the year 2018, Doctor of the Year Award in the year 2017 and Made Achiever Award in the year 2014.Dr. Kashyap has always been known for her medical profession as well as social work. She has dedicated her life for the health security of women and children in the tribal areas of Jharkhand.
