A 75-year-old home alone woman was found murdered at her house in Vinayaka layout in Channammanakere Acchukattu on Friday night .
The victm,Yashodhamma,owner of a three storeyed building was staying in the ground floor alone,while renting out the other portions of the house.
Yashodhamma had a son who was staying in adjacent area with his family while she stayed alone .
Senior officer as,DCP South, P Krishnakant with other staff and FSL team rushed to the spot and after inspecting the spot and conducting spot investigation he said,the murder occurred at Friday night and came to light on Saturday morning when one of the tenant visited her house and found her lying in a pool of blood.
Based on his information the CK Acchakattu police Inspector, Janardhan R and his crime police team rushed to the spot conducted the spot investigations before shifting the body for post-mortem.
We suspected it was a murder for gain as the gold chain and a pair of bangles were missing .
The police are questioning the tenants and the neighbours to check who had visited her house.
It was suspected that someone known to the victim might have murdered her.The police are also checking the CCTV footage to identify the assailants.
