Two bike borne men robbed a gold chain from an elderly woman while she was standing outside her house in Hampinagar in Vijaynagar on Saturday.
The incident occurred on 8th main Hampinagar when the victim,Eeramma,85,was standing outside her house .
The accused approached her on bike on the pretext of inquiring address and the pillion rider snatched her gold chain and sped away.
Eeramma raised alarm for help,but by the time the help came,the duo had escaped .
The Vijayanagar police visited the spot and gathering CCTV footage from in and around the area to identify the accused said a senior officer.
