Many scams related to recruitments rocked the state when Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister. Did he resign then? Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai asked today.
Speaking to media persons Bommai in reaction to Siddaramiah’s demand for the resignation of Bommai and Home Minister Araga Jnanendra in connection with the PSI recruitment scam said, “question paper on police recruitment test was leaked when Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister.
Did he resign then? Going by Siddaramaiah’s demand and standards, he(Siddu) should have resigned many times.”
When Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister the Police recruitment test question paper was leaked in Gulbarga.
It had leaked from the residence of a DIG who had prepared the question paper.He was even named as an accused.
But the officer was neither suspended nor dismissed.I will give details of many such scams during Siddaramaiah’s tenure as the CM,” Bommai said.
