Shinzo Abe, a former Prime Minister of Japan and a close friend and relative of India,was shot while giving a speech in the eastern Japanese city of Nara.
He was shot in the chest.
Foreign media reported that Abe’s condition is critical and the accused who shot has been arrested and the former prime minister was immediately rushed to hospital in a Air Ambulance.
