n a joint operation the CCB officials with the association of central agencies arrested a terror suspect who had taken shelter in Tilaknagar area working as food delivery boy for the last one year.
The accused Akhtar Hussain,native of Assam is living with four others in a rented house in Tilak Nagar and working as food delivery executive.
Senior officer told reporters,The accused was in constant touch with the terror organization through telegram account and social media planning for a meeting soon to discuss about a possible subersive activities .
The CCB team headed by DCP Crime-1, Dr SD Sharanappa with ACP,Jagadish and his team swung into action and conducted a secret operation and kept a close watch on his activities for few days before he was arrested on Sunday night.
The police also taken four of his roommates into custody for questioning.
This is the second incident reported in the recent past where the police,in June 3 the city police with the Jammu kashmir counterparts special team arrested Talib Hussain,an alleged member of terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen,from a residential locality in Okalipuram .
The suspect was living with his family and working as a labourer in the city.
A self-styled commander of the terror outfit,Tailb is wanted in connection with the targeted killing of Hindus in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
