CCB arrests second terror suspect from Tamilnadu Salem

day after the arrest of 23-year-old food delivery executive from his rented house in Tilak Nagar the CCB team probing his network arrested another suspected terrorist from Tamilnadu Salem.

The detained person was identified as Adil alias Zuba.He has been brought to Bengaluru city and he is being interrogated, they added.

Akhtar Hussain was working as a food delivery executive for the last one year and staying with his four friends from his home town,in a rented house in Tilak Nagar .

The accused though a high school drop out very active on social media and communicating with the terror group.

CH Pratap Reddy,City police Commissioner,said that preliminary inquires with the two arrested men reveal that they were enamoured by Jihadi literature.

They were impressed upon the radical ideologies and were also a part of a telegram group where they had been active and discussing.

Investigation so far has not revealed any of their subversive activities or plans.We are finding their links and the places that they have possibly visited in the city,state and the country.

One guy was picked up from a rented house in Tilak Nagar where he was working as a delivery boy and the other culprit was picked up from Salem in Tamil Nadu by CCB,he said .

Meanwhile the CCB officials probing Akhtar’s travel history and network.The officials suspect that Akhtar used to communicate with a group of people from Assam,West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, through telegram and messengers.

The officials are retrieving the chat history and questioning him and Zuba,his associate arrested from Salem in Tamil Nadu, where he was working in a garment factory .

The accused might have traveled to many places including Tamil Nadu,West Bengal and other places to meet his contacts to possibly plan for a activities,which is being probed.

The officials are also questioning the four persons including the younger brother of Akhtar Hussain to ascertain their possible roles he added.

The CCB police in the evening produced the suspected terrorist to the NIA Special Court and the court has remanded the accused to 10 days CCB police custody for further investigation.
