Hafizul will remain in jail custody for another 14 days- Kolkata today

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata: Hafizul Molla, who barged into West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s residence on 3rd July this year, was being produced to the Alipore court.The Judge ordered him to be kept in jail custody for another 14 days. The State Government counsel Saureen Ghoshal said, if necessary, the investigators will visit the jail with the permission from the court and interrogate. On the same day, the court was informed that multiple SIM cards and 8 mobile phones were found from that person.By examining them, the police are investigating whether the person is involved in any other crime. It has been claimed that the investigation process has also progressed a lot.Hafizul Molla, 31 -year-old is a resident of Hasnabad in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal Experts have also gone to the jail to check whether Hafizul’s walk matches the walk of the person who was seen walking on the CCTV of the Chief Minister’s house that night. On 3rd July 2022-Hafizul had managed to stay inside the Chief Minister’s house for more than seven hours and he was armed with a thick iron rod kept in his shirt. The state intelligence branch is doubting a strong criminal conspiracy behind this case.
