The Sadashivanagar police on Monday arrested a laundry man of former home minister M B Patil , for stealing cash and valuables when the family members had gone out .
The accused has been identified as Jayanth Das from Odisha .
The police have recovered valuables worth Rs.1.3 lakh including Rs.70,000 cash a wrist watch worth Rs. 50,000 and mobile phone worth Rs. 10,000.
The accused was working at the Minister’s house for the last five years and had gained the confidence of the family members .
Based on the complaint the Sadashivanagar police inspector and his team track down the accused to his native and recovered Stolen property from him.
