Abhijit Ray, Kolkata: -Chunchura police station arrested four people on charges of illegal weapons.The arrested two arms dealers are Imam Hussain alias Tukun at Chunchura Taldanga Gargardi Para, Samrat Bal alias Babur at Bandel Balir Mor area. On Wednesday night, the duo came to Chitta Sau’s house to sell weapons. Chitta Sau and Satyajit Bairagi alias Chhotu’s house is in Mallik Kashem Hat area.The police had a secret source of information about the arms trade. A 7 mm pistol with 6 rounds of cartridges from the accused. 1 single serter pipe gun and 2 pipe gun bullets were recovered. The police also seized some money. Chunchura police said that all the arrested are criminals. There are several cases of extortion, illegal possession of weapons, murder against the arrested.All four will be produced in Chunchura court and taken into police custody for questioning. It will be known, where the weapons are brought from, where they are being exchanged for selling to whom.
