10-year-old boy run over by truck near KR Puram negotiating a bad patch of road in Bengaluru

A ten-year-old boy was killed and his father head constable attached with Begur police station sustained minor injuries when a speeding truck knocked down their motorcycle they were riding near KR Puram bridge on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as,Jeevan was riding pillion with his father Santosh to a market when the incident occurred .

As soon as the bike passed the bridge,Santosh was negotiating a bad patch of road with grave when a speeding truck from DRDO knock down the bike.

While Santosh slipped and fell on the other end of the road,Jeevan came under the moving wheels and crushed to death.

The KR Puram traffic police rushed to the spot and seized the truck and arrested the driver for death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving .

Jeevan was the Younger son of Santosh senior officer said.
