The 52nd City Civil and Session Court on tuesday dismissed the bail plea filed by former Additional Director General of Police (ADGP,recruitment), Amrit Paul accused in the PSI recruitment scam .
Objecting to the bail plea,Special Public Prosecutor,P Prasanna Kumar,submitted that the investigations into the accused role is yet to be completed and charge sheet yet to be filed .
crucial evidence like the CCTV verification is still on .
Granting bail at this juncture to Mr.Paul,who is being a powerful person would hamper the investigation.
Considering the argument,the court dismissed the bail plea.
It may be recalled that the CID officials are still probing the role of Amrit Paul and yet to get the reports from the FSL on the CCTV footage and also the recovery of the money which is crucial in this case.
