Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:Nandini Chakraborty is the new Principal Secretary to the Governor of West Bengal,La Ganesan. Currently, Nandini is holding the position of Principal Secretary of the Department of Non-Conventional Energy. IAS Officer Nandini Chakraborty has served in various important positions in the state of West Bengal for a long time. Earlier, she was appointed in the Department of Information and Culture after the change of government in 2011. Later she held the charge of MD of State Industrial Development Corporation. She was also the secretary of several important departments. This time she came to the post of Secretary to the Governor of West Bengal.Earlier, Sunil Gupta was the Secretary to the Governor. Currently, he has joined the post of Secretary to the Vice President in Delhi. Nandini Chakraborty’s non-conventional power department will be handled by the current principal secretary of the power department, S. Suresh Kumar.
