The people should get their antecedents checked thoroughly and collect all the details like phone number and Id cards before taking them for the job.
Another important thing is to ask for a local reference from the employees before getting them job,he said .
The HSR Layout police have arrested a gang of six security guards from Nepal who murdered an 82-year-old woman to rob cash and valuables from her .
The accused has been identified as,Mukesh Khadak,22,Kamal Dhami,24,Keshav Budda,42, Shivraj Kota,63,Gajendra,40 and Khadak Bahadur Singh,40 from different parts of Nepal .
Senior officers as,Addl CP East,Dr A subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP Southeast, CK Baba with ACP, Lakshminarayan KC with PI,HSR Layout,Ravi KB with PIs of neighbouring station with finger print experts,Dog Squad, FSL team rushed to the spot and after inspecting all the corners of house and after collecting information from the jurisdiction police.
The murder came to light when tenant noticed the front door was ajar and later found Jayashree lying dead.
The HSR Layout police rushed to the spot and recovered the DVR,but it was not recording due to some technical issue.
CK Baba,DCP,Southeast,who supervised the investigation,sought the help of a technical team to retrieve the data and identified the accused.
A special team has been formed to track down the accused who had dispatched in different directions after sharing the money.
the police teams pursued to different states and arrested them before they cross the border and recovered the cash from the accused .
During investigation the accused confessed the crime and revealed that,They recee the house before stealing or robbing the accused and escape to their native before returning to work.
A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that the accused are habitual offenders working as security guards in residential complex around the city in day time and commit robbery and theft during night time.
The accused even move around with fake identities to create an alibi in case of any eventualities and do not carry mobile phones during their activities,a police officer,said .
The Modus operandi of the accused is to lookout for vulnerable targets and get into the security guard jobs on the nominal salary.
The accused Shivraj Kota has as many as 20 criminal cases pending against him .
The accused Khadak Singh who works in an apartment got to know about the victim,Jayashri, 82,residing in a two storeyed house in Sector 1, 26th main,HSR Layout and rented out part of the house for rent .
She was living alone while her two sons stayed separately and looking for security guard alerted Keshav.
Keshav approached Jayashree and agreed to finalized the deal to work as security guard .
As per the plan Keshav returned the next day with his associates who soon after entering the house tied her hands and legs gagged her mouth before ransacking the house for valuables.
The accused took away cash Rs.2.5 lakh from the cupboard of a bedroom and before getting into the second room,a tenant had returned from work and the woman was started screaming.
The accused in a hurry gagged her mouth again to stop her from screaming and escaped .
Unable to breath the Jayashree died of asphyxiation.
The second room cupboard had cash Rs.9 lakh and 260 grams of gold .
Jayashree was wife of Srinivasan,retired as senior officer from Ministry of Home Affairs .
After the death of Srinivasan Jayashree was living alone while her elder son lived in Lingarajpuram while the younger son is living in Canada.
Finally Bengaluru police commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP East,A Subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP Southeast,CK Baba ACP,Lakshminarayan KC,PIs,as,Ravi KB,DN Nataraj,Manjunath S,Yogesh ST,PSIs,as,Shivappa,Basavaraj Jandhe,Mahesh Mallamnavar,Santhosh,and crime staff as, Ravindra Kumar,Muniraju,Sharanappa,Ashok Rathod,Mumtaz Basha,Mahadev Nayak,Vital,Lakshman Pawar,Panduranga, Jayakumar,Jayaprakash,Chandrashekhar,Abhijit, Pradeep,Venkatswamy,Ramachandra,Jay Ganesh,Kattaih,Anand,Nagesh BM,Manjunath Hampanavar,Hanumanth,Durugappa, Ramachandra,Maruthi Gundi,Mahantesh,Bharath, Govardhan,and others has been appreciated for the meticulous investigation done by them in nabbing the notorious security guard from Nepal and recovering the property a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
