Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said the state government has taken seriously the death threat to former chief minister and Leader of the Opposition in State Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah,and promised him a thorough enquiry in this regard.
Talking to reporters near his residence here on Friday,the CM said he spoke to Siddaramaiah directly and asked him or his staff to give details of the threat calls.
I had also called DG and spoke to him.No one must take law into their hands in this issue but it is happening on both the sides.
None must issue statements that will instigate the minds of others.I have given instruction to give a suitable security for the opposition party leader”.
