The advocates must try to ensure justice for their litigants within stipulated time,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the new building of Bar Association here on Sunday, he said digitalisation has activated the judicial system.
The verdicts and arguments of the advocates are digitalised.In view of this,Tye suitable facilities will be provided to the bar association.The digitalisation of libraries in courts are digatalised.
Promises infrastructure
The CM said Savanur court has a rich history and it was delivering justice even during pre-independence period.
It is heartening to note that the Savanur advocates have retained the history of this court. All infrastructure will be provided to this court,he added.
He opined laws are man-made to ensure discipline in society.So,there must be humanity and morality in it.The real purpose of judiciary is ensure justice for the common man.
