Allegation of gang rape by breaking the door and picking up the young women  at Debra at West Bengal –  7 arrested

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:Allegations of gang-rape were reported in Debra of West Medinipur by breaking the door of the house and taking away the young women. Two women were allegedly brutally tortured. One of the victims is in critical condition. Under treatment at Medinipur Medical College Hospital. Police have already arrested 7 people in this incident.The victims are members of the orchestra group. A resident of block number two of Kharagpur. They were rehearsing dance songs at a house in Maratala on Sunday. The exercise ends at six in the evening. Fearing that they will not get a bus to return home, they seek shelter at the house of an acquaintance in Bharatpur village panchayat area of ​​Debra police station. The woman was once associated with the orchestra group. Three young women and two young men took shelter for one night in that woman’s house.According to local sources, the sheltered family is very poor. Apart from the woman in the family, he has an elderly father-in-law and a 15-year-old son. Two young men, the woman’s son and father-in-law, were sleeping on the same bed. There were a total of 4 people on the ground, including three women from the orchestra group. Allegedly, some young men knocked on the door of that house at night. When the door was not opened, the woman, her father-in-law and son were taken to a club. Allegedly, anti-social activities are going on inside the house.Then three young women from the orchestra were brought up. Meanwhile, a young woman escaped in the dark. The remaining two were brought to an abandoned house on the bank of a pond near a school hostel. There they were subjected to hellish torture. It is also alleged that they were forced out of the area with threats.

Finally, the victims filed a complaint at Debra police station on Monday afternoon. Based on the complaint, the police arrested 7 local people. The arrested were taken to Medinipur district court on Tuesday.
