Former BMTC employee wife arrested! for trying to secure job under compassionate grounds using fake certificates

The Wilson garden police have registered a case against a 42-year-old widow of a former BMTC employee for trying to secure a job under compassionate grounds using fake certificates.

Based on the complaint filed by KM Munikrishna, Divisional Security Inspector,the police booked Manjula Chandaragi of Dharwad charging her under cheating forgery and fraud for further investigation.

Mr,Munkrishna said that Shivalli Y Kallimani,a driver cum conductor of BMTC bus working in Unit 17 had died while on duty in July 2017.

His wife Manjula had applied for a job on compassionate grounds and submitted certificates of SSLC and PUC from SSMIC Singhpur Saranath Varanasi,Uttara Pradesh state between the year 2010-2012.

The vigilance department as per the rules aprroached the UP for cross check and found that Manjula chandaragi had not appeared in high school examination the institution and there were no records to support her claim.

Manjula has not studies and suspected to have bought the certificates to apply and cheat the corporation,which needed a detailed investigations,the officials said .
