Cop connect will add to cyber security, opines CM Bommai

C op connect is a new initiative which will ensure cyber security and add strength in checking cyber crimes,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

He was speaking after launching Cyberverse Lab, Cop Connect and Cyberhygiene organised by Cyberverse Foundation in Mysuru on Tuesday.

The CM said intelligence of the users is very important in the use of technology.But they have the history of misuse of this intelligence.

It is pertinent to give importance to values and moral while gaining expertise in the field of technology.

This new application will be helpful in resolving cyber security incidents,creating condusive atmosphere and bringing together cyber psychiatrists,cyber advocates and forensic experts to find out solutions.

Besides,it will help in creating awareness on cyber crimes and provide instant solution soon after The crimes,as well as finding out the offenders.

Bommai observed that the cyber security was an advanced technological field but still the cyber thieves will always achieve the upper hand.

But the Cyberverse company has been working to improve the situation, as well as to strike a balance by creating awareness.

The company’s high quality centre consists of six notable features and that will be helpful in improving the India’a technical skills.

As Home minister,Bommai recalled that he had always batted for an United strength to check the cyber criminals both in government and industries.

The CM said the royal family of Mysore has the history of having the concern for the well-being of the society,and that tradition has been continued.

Chamaraja Wadiyar in the field of cyber security was notable, he added.
