Public Interest Litigation against BJP

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:In the name of Navanna Abhiyan, yesterday BJP ran rampage in various areas of Kolkata, Howrah, and suburbs. Because of this, people’s lives are disrupted sporadically. Many people could not catch the long-distance train. Ambulance with patients could not reach the hospital as many roads were closed. BJP workers blocked various roads by burning tires.The Supreme Court has a clear order that no political movement can be carried out by disrupting public life. The Calcutta High Court filed a public interest case on Tuesday. The plaintiff is a lawyer of Calcutta High Court. This Public Interest Litigation was taken up by a division bench of Chief Justice Prakash Srivastava and Rajarshi Bharadwaj. The Chief Justice said that the case will be heard quickly.
