Abhijit Ray Kolkata : On Thursday, *Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee* inaugurated the expanded unit of ‘Tata Metaliks Limited’ in Kharagpur. Tata group is investing more than 600 crore rupees in it. Tata Metaliks is the part of Tata Steel and a Tata group company which happens to own more than 157 companies. Tata group is the largest business group in Asia region and one of largest Indian MNC globally. On this day, the chief minister said that there will be a lot of employment in this factory at the job appointment ceremony of the students who passed technical education.Tata company acquired land in Singur for Nano car manufacturing plant. Mamata Banerjee started the movement by accusing the then left government of acquiring the land of the farmers. The Trinamool Congress leader went on hunger strike for a long time to get the demand. In the end, the Tata group left the factory work and closed it midway.The employment rate of women in Tatas companies is quite substantial. Mamata Banerjee herself has always emphasized the employment of women. After becoming the Chief Minister for the third time, the Trinamool Congress supremo emphasized industrial development in the state. Various companies are investing in the state. She has also said from this day’s event that presently Bengal is holding the number one position in agriculture. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was extremely angry at this political program of the BJP. She spoke about BJP’s attack on the police in the administrative meeting of East Medinipur on Wednesday. On this day, she said, “The police could have opened fire if they wanted to. But peacefully controlled the whole thing.” Kolkata Police ACP Devjit Chatterjee was attacked by goons on Tuesday. He is currently admitted to the hospital. Referring to that incident, the Chief Minister said from the administrative meeting that she had spoken to the police officer. He needs surgery. In response to this incident, Mamata slammed the BJP and said, “There can be a movement in a democratic manner. But hire a train to bring gangsters? They will bring bombs in bags, they will bring guns, what else!” In addition, Mamata criticized the BJP without naming the police car on fire.Not only that, Mamata said, “Due to yesterday’s incident, traders have suffered huge losses. Barabazar, Mangalhat was closed yesterday.
