UG and PG courses can be studied together in integrated system with intermediate qualification. This type of education is offered by IITs, IIMs, Central Universities, Nationally Recognized Special Institutions and State Universities. Those who wish to pursue PG courses in future, hope to take a step towards research, and those who want a solid grasp of the subject can take the integrated path. This system saves a year for those enrolled in some courses!
With integrated education, you can get the opportunity to study UG and PG at the same time, without any hassles and without writing additional exams. One can acquire wide knowledge in the subject from basics to research level. Normally, to get admission in PG courses, one has to write the examinations conducted by the institutes during the final year of UG. This requirement is not applicable for those enrolled in integrated courses. Even if you are not interested in higher education after joining these types of courses, even if you do not like the subject you are studying till then, you can come out with a UG degree. This facility is provided by many organizations. Some courses may not be able to withdraw midway. Therefore, one should know all the details beforehand and take a decision.
Integrated MBA
Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are the best institutions for management education in our country. Some of these institutes offer a five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) course with intermediate qualifications. You can study IPM at IIM- Indore, Rohtak, Ranchi, Buddh Gaya, Jammu. Candidates will be selected through written test and interviews. Also, Nalsar, IIFT (Kakinada), Nirma University, Narsi Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Jindal Global Business School, Devi Ahalya University, NIIT University…other institutes are offering MBA course under integrated approach. Integrated MA
Many national level universities of the state are offering integrated MA course. IIT-Madras offers MA-Development Studies and MA-English Studies. Admission to the courses is given through Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE). One can enroll in integrated MA courses in Hyderabad, Pondicherry and the newly formed Central Universities. Many universities in Telugu states have started integrated PG courses in some subjects.
Integrated Entech
Along with IITs, many universities and deemed institutes offer integrated M.Tech course with a duration of five years. After B.Tech, one year’s time is saved compared to M.Tech. Admission is given by IIT-JEE score. All the older IITs had integrated MTech courses. State level organizations are also providing these. All reputed private institutes run at least two or three integrated M.Tech courses. In this system, data science, artificial intelligence and analytics courses with computer science background with various specializations are getting more and more. One can get admission in Integrated MTech (CS) course offered by Hyderabad Central University with JEE score.
Integrated B.Ed
Some institutes provide an opportunity to complete the degree along with BED in four years. Government-run regional educational institutions, central universities and well-known private institutions offer these types of courses. Those who join these will save a year of time and get a firm grip on teaching. Those who are interested can directly study M.Sc along with B.Ed after Inter. The duration of this course is six years. A year will be saved in this method. REE Mysore offers M.Sc Ed courses in Maths, Physics and Chemistry subjects. There is no option for those who join to withdraw midway. Azim Premji University, Bangalore; Tezpur University, Central University of Tamil Nadu, South Bihar Central University, Shastra University, GD Goenka, Love Lee Professional.
Integrated M.Sc
Inter science students can join IITs as well as various central universities, state level institutes and integrated M.Sc courses in special institutes set up under the auspices of the centre. JEE Advanced score gives admission in IITs. IISERs are offering BSMS courses in various science disciplines. Merit of Inter Marks/ JEE Score/ Talent shown in Aptitude Test/ KVPY etc. are admitted to the course. These institutions are located at seven locations across the country – Tirupati, Thiruvananthapuram, Pune, Mohali, Bhopal, Barampur and Kolkata. Students who join these can get a stipend of Rs.5000 every month. With the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST).. National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) of the Department of Atomic Energy. Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics courses can be studied in the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences. Those who join these institutes get stipend every month. There are integrated M.Sc courses in Hyderabad, Pondicherry and the newly formed Central Universities.
Integrated Law
You can study law courses directly after inter. BL with degree can be completed in five years. It takes six years to study these two separately. National law universities, state institutions and many private colleges offer these courses. Students can complete BA, BSc, BCom, BBA courses along with BL. CLAT and LASET have the opportunity to join national organizations.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS): M.Sc. Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Economics courses are offered in an integrated manner at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. Access is available with Bitsat. M.Sc General Studies course is run in Pilani campus.
