aying Kalaburgi as a future city,Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai asked all the stakeholders to make this thinking a reality.
Speaking at a function organised in connection with renaming of Hyderabad-Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries as Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries here on Saturday,he said this association, through changing of its name,has responded to people’s problems for over five decades.
This chamber has been important on many occasions and it has taken the lead in helping in trade,commerce,industries and infrastructure.
It has served as the voice of this region for many decades. In the new name it will work with a new spirit and inspire others.
The CM said Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a western concept because chamber means sitting at one place to discuss about the development of state.
The neighboring China has interacted with local industrial bodies and formed policies.This is the importance of these associations.
The chamber must play an important role in the development of the state.The FKCCI of Bengaluru and KCCI of Hubballi are actively functioning.
Like that Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry must also function effectively.
In democracy,they must raise their voice for the development of their region or else it will not happen.
In these limited resources,decisions will be taken on the part of those who stake their claim more than others.Plenty of opportunities.
Bommai said there was plenty of opportunity in this region as it is gifted with good natural and human resources but unfortunately both could not be made use.
The focus must be on promotion of talent and skill development.
The thinkers and visionaries of the Chamber of Commerce must suggest solutions to the people as it will help people in the helm of affairs.
Be it any individual,institution, government or society, all of them must develop positivity and this will ensure success.
The chamber must strive hard to not only instill confidence but also strive hard in ensuring infrastructure, industries and textile park.
The talents of this region must be identified and make them speak in meetings.Kalaburgi is in the centre of the country and ensures good connectivity for the development of this region.The communication must be good.
A Lot of changes are happening under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi such as logistics,education,skill development and the optimum use of natural resources.
The PM is working round the clock for the development of India and because of his vision the country is witnessing changes in social and economic fields,he added
